Partnerships
Coastal Sporting Life considers collaborations that fit its focus on coastal sport and remain clear to readers. Partner material and placements are identified, and editorial coverage stays independent.
Suitable collaborations
Possible work includes clearly labelled articles or guides commissioned with a partner, relevant partner links or listings, and other placements that make sense beside coverage of coastal venues, events and sporting culture. A proposal should name the subject, the intended format and what the partner would provide.
Clear labels, clear boundaries
Paid or partner material is marked so readers can identify it before mistaking it for independent coverage. Partners cannot require an editorial endorsement, dictate an independent conclusion or disguise advertising as ordinary reporting. We may decline work that does not fit the publication or would confuse readers.
Start a conversation
Send a partnership proposal through the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Explain the organisation or project, the proposed placement and any relevant relationship. No invented audience figures, performance promises or unverified claims are used to describe what a collaboration can deliver.
Place is part of the game
A coastline is more than a backdrop. Its shape, weather and shared spaces affect how people play, gather and watch.
